Technical Engineering (Oil & Gas) Programs

These programs are aimed at new entrants to the Oil & Gas Industry designed to introduce these personnel to the working environment and equip them with the knowledge, understanding and experience of job roles within the sector, thus preparing them to make immediate(and safe) contributions.

So far we were able to deliver the Technical Engineering Training Programs to some 174 students, which was a major milestone for the Group as well as the Safety Accreditation Int'l (SAI) division. The programs in partnership with Aberdeen Skills and Enterprise Training Limited (ASET) catered for the needs of our client for theoretical and practical oil and gas training for the new recruits (Engineers and Technicians). It also entailed upgrading the current facilities and supplying the necessary training equipment for the programs.

We also provided four different vocational programs; Process Operations Hydrocarbons VQ Level 2 and Performance Engineering Operations VQ Level 2 in three disciplines:

  1. Mechanical
  2. Instrumentation
  3. Electrical

The major driver behind the success of these programs is the careful planning and preparation efforts before any program launch. Prior to the development/delivery of any program, a needs-assessment is carried out at our client site to determine the following:

  • The standards of competence to be adopted to meet international standards and the specific requirements of our client.
  • The development of a program of underpinning knowledge, hands-on practical training and a series of competence based assessments to qualify the trainees to take their place in the workforce.
  • The scale and size of the client training facilities and the suitability and extent of the equipment to enable practical training and assessment to be carried out to the required standards.
  • The practical training equipment requirements to enable the trainees to achieve a level of knowledge and skills congruent with an appropriate level of Vocational Qualifications (VQs).
